They say the greatest things in life are free. If you agree, you’re probably thrilled with the RMU fan cards deal. Get your card signed by attending athletic or performing arts events, and you’ll receive a $100 gift card to the bookstore and be entered to win a free study abroad trip! You need to go to at least eight events, and it must be a combination of at least three different performing arts or sports. The only catch is that you can’t use the card for books or novelty items. But who wouldn’t say no to free sweatshirts and other RMU apparel? If you don’t have a fan card, talk to your advisor as soon as possible, because all fan cards must be submitted to the bookstore by June 1, 2012. So support Robert Morris athletics and performing arts- it may be the easiest way ever to win a trip to Paris!
There will be free food samples in the Chicago Student Center (7th floor) on Tuesday, March 13 from 11:30-12:30 & 5:30-6:30. The event is hosted by RMU student Ashley DiBella with food by Wisma. The tasting is in an effort to eventually have Wisma products for regular sale in the Chicago Student Center so that students will have healthy, affordable food options to choose from on campus.

Since this afternoon, people have been lined up to get free food at the new Panda Express located on State Street just south of the Chicago campus. The offer continues until 8:00pm, but the line is still long. Readers, is a free meal at Panda Express worth a long wait in the cold? Sound off on the topic by leaving a comment!
